"Two decades ago, children with disabilities had to make do with what could be invented on the spot or modified from existing items if they wanted to learn like their non-disabled peers. Now, technology is making miracles happen in the classroom and in their lives."

- The Journal News (Westchester, NY), "Technology Brings Freedom to Disabled Students," February 12, 2001

PMC PRESS CENTER

The Power Mobility Coalition (PMC) is committed to improving the lives of individuals with limited mobility, by educating the public and government officials about the need for access to power mobility equipment. Disabilities experts, medical professionals, and patients with severely compromised mobility agree that access to a power wheelchair is often crucial for personal independence and freedom.

The Coalition has defined and worked to promote high standards to ensure that suppliers adhere to industry best practices to prevent fraud and to meet the service as well as equipment needs of Medicare beneficiaries.

In this press center you will find timely press releases, news articles, and interesting facts about how power mobility equipment is making a difference in the lives of millions of Americans.
