Power Mobility Coalition
As Director of the Power Mobility Coalition, Eric Sokol is an advocate for the power mobility community, representing manufacturers and suppliers that provide power mobility equipment and educational resources to severely disabled Americans.
Since joining the organization in 2003, Sokol has worked to bring together diverse audiences under the common cause of ensuring disabled, seriously ill and injured, and elderly Americans have adequate access to the medical equipment they need to live their lives independently as possible.
Prior to joining the PMC, Eric represented home health and hospice providers as Deputy Director of Government for the National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC). In addition to advocating in front of Congress to advance NAHC’s legislative agenda, Sokol was also staff liaison for NAHC’s home medical equipment affiliate, the Home Medical Equipment Association of America.
Sokol is a cum laude graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and received his law degree from the American University in Washington, DC.
